Important notes on Retinol

Made from vitamin A, retinol boosts the collagen your body makes, reducing fine lines and wrinkles and improving skin tone and colour. Using a retinol-based product may make the top layer of your skin sensitive, so it's best to apply it at night and wear moisturizer and sunscreen the next morning. It's best to ask your Skin Therapist if using a product with retinol is best for you.

Please do not use products with retinol if you are pregnant or lactating.

In the evening only, apply a pea-sized amount after cleansing.

Use twice per week, gradually increasing application frequency to every other night, and then advancing to each evening or as tolerated.

Follow with the appropriate moisturiser.

Note: It is important to wear a broad spectrum SPF during the day when using this product at night, since retinol is sun sensitizing.
